The Mackenzie Charitable Giving Program

The Mackenzie Charitable Giving Program makes giving simple, convenient and powerful, helping investors give back, make grants to charities and grow their impact, now and for the future.

Give + Grant + Grow

Give back

Through the Strategic Charitable Giving Foundation, donors can give back to those in need and support the causes they truly care about.

Grant to charities

Donors select the charities and causes they want to support, grant them the funding they need to make a real difference, and leave a legacy of giving.

Grow your impact

Donors can sustain and increase their giving over time. Donated funds grow tax-free, allowing your chosen charities to have an even greater impact.

An easy and impactful way to make a difference.

With so many worthy causes and ways to give, it can be hard to know where to start. The Mackenzie Charitable Giving Program is an easy and impactful way to make a difference.

Why the Mackenzie Charitable Giving Program?

alt

1. Tax efficiency: Donors will receive a tax receipt for their donation, which they can apply against other income tax liabilities.

2. Low-cost: Compared to a private foundation, the Mackenzie Charitable Giving Program is an inexpensive approach to managing a sizeable gift.

3. Flexibility: The donor may recommend grants to any number of eligible charities or other institutions each year, with minimum grants of $250.

4. Convenience: The program simplifies the donor’s charitable giving experience by handling administrative tasks for each account.

5. Lasting legacy: Clients can name their account to honour a family member or cause. When a grant is made, the account’s name is cited as the donor.
